Tour Itinerary: 2 days desert trip Fes to Marrakech

Day 1 : Fes - Ifrane - Cedar Forest - Middle atlas - Ziz Valley - Merzouga Desert { 470 km } 7 Hours

On the first day of your 2 Days Fes to Marrakech desert tour we will pick you up from your hotel/Riad in the morning and drive to Merzouga pass over the middle Atlas mountains where you can savor the beauty of the aromatic cedar forest and fertile green valleys.

Then continue to Midelt along the green hills and the Middle Atlas mountains in Midelt city we will have a break for lunch and afterward we will keep on our journey and cross Tizi N’talghomt pass and Ziz Gorge near Errachidia where you will see the barrage Hassan Al’Dakhil.

We continue our drive to Erfoud you will a break for a view panoramic of Aoufous palmeraie along Ziz River, and also pass through the small city Erfoud and arrival in Merzouga from here you will do camel trekking to reach our Berber Camp Merzouga the camel ride takes 1 – 1:30 h with a break on top of the dunes to watch the sunset, try the sandboarding if that’s an activity you’re interested in, enjoy the views , take photos…

Then after these beautiful moments you’ll continue to the camp where you’ll be welcomed with a glass of tea and relax until dinner time, after having dinner there’s be some traditional Berber drumming music, enjoy the starry sky then sleep under a nomadic tent.

Day 2 : Erg Chebbi desert - Ait ben Haddou -High Atlas - Marrakech { 564 km } 8 Hours

On your second day of your Fes to Marrakech 2 day Morocco tour after watching a beautiful Sunrise in Desert outside the campsite, you’ll have breakfast and take shower at the Camp.

Afterward, you’ll ride the camels again or we can transfer you on our 4WD back to the originally started point where you will meet your driver and your journey continues direction to Marrakech.

Depends on the time we have we’ll take the opportunity to make as many stops as possible in order to see some interesting sites along the way such as Todra & Dades valley, Ouarzazate, the old kasbah of ait ben Haddou to take pictures or do a quick visit if you are traveling in summer months when the day is long enough.
