Program of 2 Nights Camel Trekking in Merzouga

First day: After meeting you at our guests in the village where you will leave your car at secure parking and pack the necessary things for the evening in the desert.

Our 2 nights Camel riding in Merzouga will start in the late afternoon around two hours before sunset and take you right into the heart of the desert dunes.

The trek takes about an hour and a half so you will have the chance to watch one of the most beautiful sunsets Morocco has to offer, try sandboarding if this is an activity you are interested in, during the trek you will take a break in the middle of the Sahara to take photos and admire the landscapes until the sun goes down.

Then continue to the camp where you will be greeted with a glass of mint tea and relax until dinner time. After dinner, there will be some traditional Berber drumming music around the fire, enjoy the starry sky, and sleep at Berber-tented camp.

Second day: We will rise early to watch the sun come up followed by breakfast and a 1.5 – 2 hour camel trek taking you further into the desert to the second camp.

A Moroccan lunch will be served along with mint tea at a small oasis in the middle of the Sahara and you’ll have plenty of time to chill out and relax in the dunes. Having watched the sunset, the evening will consist of a tasty traditional meal and comfy beds for all.

The next day it worth getting up early morning to watch the sunrise, take some beautiful pictures and after these lovely moments, you will have a delicious breakfast and take shower at the camp.

After that, you will camel trek again back to the originally started point or we can transfer you directly from the camp to the village and end of your Sahara adventure 2 nights Camel trek in Merzouga.
